james - I love you too, bro! I thought of this joke the moment I was told about the Highland Astronomy Group. In all fairness to the Highlands, I've seen breathtaking night skies there. Of course, Greenock is no more in the Highlands than Queensferry is, so it's no wonder you grew up thinking it was all one with 'waters above the firmament'.

Jack - still waiting for independent confirmation ...

Great stuff. Works for Seattle astronomers too.
